Hi all, I recently purchased v12 for Mac and am running a win 7 ult vm, but am having dramas getting the network configured correctly for my needs. Hoping someone can help?
I have a Macbook Pro with touchbar and 4 x USB-C ports and a simple Wi-Fi network at the office. I can configure the settings to share and get my VM online ok. I also have a Belkin USB-C to Ethernet adaptor which works ok also.
I use my VM only because some of the software I use for work will only run on windows, and the equipment I use is shipped with a 192.168.1.2 address from the factory. DHCP is not an option for the VM or the equipment, it must be all manual.
I need to set up my Windows VM to use the Belkin USB-C adaptor to configure and run the equipment, and have connectivity for the VM to the internet via Wi-Fi. I have managed some weeks ago to configure a similar setup with the Belkin adaptor connecting my VM to the equipment and the host OS connected to the WAN via Wi-Fi (phone hotspot), it even supported a team viewer session across the host and VM, but I cant replicate the settings for some reason.
I have read numerous posts and docs, and the user manual, and I have a reasonable understanding of networks etc, but am still having trouble. Can anyone help please?
    Thanks in advance :)

So you need to configure virtual machine network adapter to use bridge mode on USB-C adapter, right? If you've done this what exact issues do you have?
