Almost always, when I do a left mouse click to get a navigate a popup menu (I do this by doing a double-click on my trackpad) or also when I just navigate a Windows application menu, I start to navigate the menu and while I'm doing this, Windows 10 suddenly minimises my window on the desktop. Hovering above it gives me a X in an upper corner, apparently to close it. When I click it, I'm back at square one and I have to restart. Getting to menu items becomes almost impossible. Is there anything I ca do about this? It happens both in Parallels 11 and Parallels 12. Both before and after the Windows 10 Creator Update.
Hello Gerben. Does the issue occur in just one Windows virtual machine or across multiple virtual machines?
Both in Parallels 11 and Parallels 12 with two independent Windows 10 VMs on two different Macs. It's Windows 10 that has some zoom-out (/ show all windows maybe?)mechanism that is triggered constantly making its use quite hopeless. I'm not a heavy Windows user (just for a single app that is not available on the Mac) so I'm not experienced in Windows.
To assist you better, please mention in specific the Windows applications with which you've faced this issue so far.
I've experienced this in a generic way. E.g. the File Explorer (or whatever its exact name) that comes with the Windows OS and BiZZdesign Enterprise Studio (an app I use Parallels for). As far as I have bene able to determine, it is not app related, but there is some Windows 'desktop' behaviour that is too easily triggered, especially when using context menu or any other form of menu popup.
Thanks for your suggest @CurtisS1 Yes, you are correct! Please use "Record screen or video tools" which is available in Parallels Toolbox @GerbenW and we can help!
I'm waiting for a situation where I can reliably trigger the behaviour, otherwise the video will be endless.
Hi @GerbenW , we understand . We requested for a short video to get a clear picture on what exactly is happening on your end. Please help us with the recorded video, so that we can check and help you out accordingly.
