Hello, I am currently running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit insider edition build 16184. It is a legitimate installation by dint of my taking part in the Windows beta program, but I don't have any installation disks because I have been using the online Windows 10 updates from Microsoft. I am hoping to take delivery of a new Apple Mac machine, tomorrow, and I will purchase and download Parallels. My question is: can I somehow install Windows 10 under Parallels without having to purchase it afresh?

Hello Carl- yes, you can transfer an existing virtual machine to a new Mac. Please check this article and keep us posted.

Thanks for the reply Swati, but I think you misunderstand. I am currently running an actual non-virtual machine running Window 10. I want to start a new Windows 10 instance on the new Mac, but to use the same licence as my existing Windows 10.

Hi @CarlC2 , it is possible if the Microsoft licensing policy allows you to use the same license in two instances. Please check with Microsoft support who will check and let you know if this is achievable.
