    Use Mac os 10.11.6
Windows 10 has already been installed on the PDT 12, and it operates without problems.
I want to install Windows XP newly but installation is impossible because "The Mac does not have a network adapter for" Parallels Shared # 0 "virtual network. Network adapter 0 will be disconnected.
Please help me what to do!

Hi Kenchiannh, are you trying to install Windows XP from a network drive? We would suggest you to download the installation file for Windows XP and install it on your Mac using Parallels Desktop.

This is displayed when you select the installation file for Windows XP from the new Parallels Desktop creation and install it.

So I had the same issue running Parallels version 12 running both Windows 10.pvm image I had from Paralles 11 and a macOS image I had from Paralls version 11. I resolved the issue by going to: Settings --> Hardware --> Network 1 --> Change Shared Network to Bridged and the picked Wifi i drop down.

Note: You must shutdown the OS before you can change setting. If you are running Parallels on a Desktop and not a laptop you may need to select ethernet. Also before I did any of this I reinstalled Paralles Tools but that didn't help.

Question to Parallels Support (@ParallelsCares): Why did having the setting as Shared Network work in version 11 but not in Version 12??? Please fix it cause its frustrating when adding images because default setting is Shared Network.

Found this and it might be helpful: https://kb.plesk.com/en/116816

On the install of version 12 it crashed and allowed me to send a report which I did and it gave me this number I assume it is the Report ID you speak of
166547161. Let me know if I'm correct @ParallelsCares.

In case of Marcus it is turned out that Parallels Desktop installation was corrupted.
