Problem with system freezing randomly.

No other explanations, just total system freeze. No mouse or keyboard input. I can navigate back to macOS but even that is frozen. Only started happening after I upgraded to PD 12(running W10 Pro VM).

 

I have encountered the same thing several times since upgrading to PD12 too. I am using a mid-2010 MacBook Pro on macOS Sierra v10.12.2. My VM is Windows 7 Ultra 64-bit. Sometimes I have to power down my Mac to get out of the lock-up state. Other times I can do a "Force Quit" on PD12 from the Mac OS.

 

Hi guys, could you please provide us with the screenshot of the Activity monitor, once you start the Parallels Desktop and VM.

 

Also which version of Parallels Desktop 12 are you using? Did you update to the latest build?

 

I ended up reinstalling macOS.
