I just paid my subscription but this morning when I try to run parallels it told my I need to enter my license information - when I do - I get the following error: The product key of a previous version of Parallels Desktop has been not accepted on the license server. Even though I am entering valid V12 and v8 license information. Please help.
I have the same issue. I installed MAC OSX Mountain Lion. I had Parallels 8. I have a legacy key for Parallels 8. I can login to my account and see it recorded. I have just downloaded Parallels 10. So it has installed on MAC OSX Mountain Lion. Now I am at the activation page in the installation of Parallels 10. Problem: I don't know where to buy an activation key for Parallels 10? All of the links are dead when I try to follow them and it is really frustrating. When I even click "Request Trial Key" and "Get Trial" it tells me I am not connected to the internet and I need to contact support. That's not possible because I am concurrently doing many other things on the internet and it seems to be an issue with the Parallels Request Trial Key Dialog Box. Once I get Parallels 10 working on Mountain Lion, I plan to upgrade MAC OSX from Mountain Lion to MAC OS X El Capitan. Please help me find/buy or where to download the activation key for Parallels 10? Thank you for your time. Luke
Hi SteveC8, customers who are using Parallels Desktop 9 or the earlier versions are not eligible for upgrade pricing for Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac. If you would like to take advantage of all Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac features, you will need to purchase a full copy of Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac. Please provide the order number on private message and we are here to help!
Hi @PaulChris@Parallels -thank you could you also please answer my question. Where can I buy parallels 10 authentication key? Thank you Luke
You can check with any Parallels authorized resellers like Amazon, BestBuy and etc. We see that you are also planning to upgrade to ElCapitan. We suggest you to backup the VM upgrade your Mac OS X then purchase Parallels Desktop 12 full version. You can use your existing VM with Parallels Desktop 12 then there will be no need for Parallels Desktop 10 and you don't have to pay twice.
