Hi, I would like to move a VM from a pvm file residing on my Mac to an iSCSI target on a NAS. And of course, the VM still would be executed on the Mac. Is that at all possible without reinstalling? How would I do that? Thanks in advance for any clue. I need space on my Mac. Urgently. ;-) Michael
What if I used an iSCSI initiator where it would be totally transparent to Parallels? Would that make sense? Would the speed be at least "tolerable"? I won't do too much io-intensive stuff, a few Metatrader Backtests from time to time and that's it.
Hi MichaelK6, You can shutdown the VM and move it to an external storage device. You will be able to execute the VM on an external drive which is connected to the Mac through USB but not from a NAS.
