Debian 8 package ... questions

    I downloaded the prebuilt Debian 8 VM. A couple of questions/issues
    1. The included parallels user does not seem to be an admin user. Is there a root or sysadmin user? If so what is it and what is password.
    2. How do I add a user since the 'parallels' id isn't an admin id?
    3. Is there a list of included packages or do I just need to run apt or aptitude?

    Hello @SterlingG
    1. The root account is always there, you just need to set a password for it: Open terminal & type sudo passwd root
    2. Here is how you can create a new user ID
    3. I am afraid there isn't a list of included packages.

    Ok thanks ... hint - maybe a little ReadMe file might save people time... it could even be a MOTD when userid parallels logs on.
