I need some urgent advice - I need to be able to install Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro asap and I've spent hours with Boot Camp with no success - each time it comes to a grinding halt at the Windows installer stage. Anyway, I'm considering Parallels - I used it many years ago. My big question is whether I will need to format my whole hard drive to install Parallels or whether it can create a partition without a complete re-format like Boot Camp does. I have around 900 GB of data on my laptop so not keen on a complete re-format!

    Thank you!

You don't have to format your Mac partition.
To create a Windows virtual machine in Parallels Desktop.
