    Hi,

I'm owner of a new macBookPro OS 10.12.2 Sierra, 16GB RAM.
I migrated my Windows 7 64 bit laptop to a VM.
Can someone tell me where to assign the amount of RAM the VM will be allowed to use ?

    Thanks in advance.
    Michael

    Hi Guna,
I bought an educational edition. When I click on the red || sign in the status bar of my Mac I do not get the option to configure.
After I chose Control Center I get: a) new, b) open, c) preferences, d) Help, e) check for updates, f) about paralleles desktop and g) quit parallels desktop, but nothing more.

    I found it !
I changed it intermediately to 4 GB, later I will most probably change it to 8 GB.
I have 4 CPU's, do I have to change the number of processors to 4 ?

Glad you found it! I'd suggest not to change the number of processors more than "2" for better performance.
