    Hi all
been using parallels for some years now but a recent OS update seems to have upset something?

Previously I had the default printer in my XP guest track the default printer in the Mac OS, pretty certain that since updating to Sierra OS on the MAC this no longer works and the default printer in the guest cannot be altered and does not track the host default anymore?

Is there a way to fix this?
No settings in the guest OS were changed following the update.

    Thanks

Please try the below steps & keep us posted
We recommend you to take snapshot before applying the below instructions.
    1. Remove the existing printer (click Start, and then click Printers and Faxes)
    2. Uncheck "Share Mac Printers with Windows"
    3. Restart the Windows & check "Share Mac Printers with Windows"
    4. Once the Printers are successfully added, please try to change the default printer

    Hi
Just tried and it removed the devices when i unchecked the share option, I restarted and checked share again and after it reinstalled the printers, the effect is identical - the default is set to the wrong machine which also is NOT the MAC default and when i try and change it the the default tick changes but then instantly swaps back to the wrong printer.
