When I close the lid on my macbook pro and put the computer to sleep, when I open the macbook my guest is sleeping. This has never happened on any installation before and I can't seem to find the setting. I think it's also having an effect on the speed at which my computer wakes. It used to wake in a second now it takes 4-5 seconds. My hibernate mode is set to 0, so I don't write memory to disk on sleep. Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm running mac book pro 2016 macOS Sierra 10.12.2 parallels 12.1.1 (41491)
My settings are currently on custom. The two settings that could be the potential problem are: On Mac Shutdown: suspend On Window Close: suspend I haven't messed with these settings before and since I don't think I'm doing either one of these activities I wouldn't think they would affect sleep. So this morning, when I woke the macbook, it started immediately and my vm wasn't paused. I didn't change any settings in the virtual machine or the host. Quite puzzling.
Ahh the vm wasn't sleeping when closed because the new mac doesn't go to sleep when closed when on power. If i remove the power and close it it cause the vm to sleep as well. This is a problem
