When opening Parallels I get error message: Cannot access /Mac/Home/Desktop

    I tried almost everthing to make it work, no way. Also the way it is described in certain Forum-messages doesn't work.
    I made the big mistake to desinstall Parallels Tools which I cannot reinstall because I have no disk of it.
    The other problem is that the Mouse doesn't work in Parallels so I cannot access any programs. The Keyboard works but that is very limited.
    There should be a way to make it work again. I use P 11 version, and I downloaded a test version of 12, but that didn't change anything. It seems there is a network problem. So I made all kind of tests in the configuration of Parallels, but it doesn't change a cent.
    I really start getting fed up. Have a look at the pictures.

    Thank you for your reply. I have checked that article many times now, but there are some main problems here.
    1. The mouse is not available in Windows, so I cannot click anywhere!
    2. The pictures are not updated (now its Mac Sierra & Windows 10 ) and moreover I have all in German.
    So I don't understand this mounting thing. Because installing the tools always ask for a drive.
    3. I have reinstalled the test version 12 of Parallels and it seems that the Toolbox is installed. I have a sign on the Mac up on the right. And I find also the tools in a folder.
    But all this doesn't help. The problem stays.
    Maybe you can guide me on some steps to make this finally work?
    That would be great.

    I tried now again the method to install the tools called Scenario 3.
    I arrived at the point 10. where it says to copy the file prl-tools-win to the Windows 8.1-0 mounted.
    This is not possible. It is not possible to copy this file to this folder. Unless I did something wrong. But have a look at the picture. It looks like in the instructions.
    I found the problem. I had to mount it on the pvm. file , not on the app!
    Let's see how it goes on

    I'm glad to say that the problem has been solved after installation of the tools.
    Hard work specially with only the KB, but finally it worked.
