For a period of time after I upgraded to v11 and now again with my recent v12 upgrade I'm seeing consistent CPU usage (per Activity Monitor) of 100%+ on my Windows 7 virtual machine, even when it's doing nothing, and also continuous outgoing network traffic (sent bytes in AM) from Parallels Desktop. As I recall with V11 this went on for a few days and then seemed to clear up on it's own. Perhaps AM is monitoring network traffic between OS X and Win7, but that doesn't explain the high CPU usage.
