After upgrading to Parallel Desktop 12, whenever I tried to start the virtual PC (Win Server 2012) or goes into full screen mode, it kicks me out of Mac so I have to re-login. It happens over and over until I finally get into the virtual OS. This happens to all my Mac that upgraded to Parallel Desktop 12 so it is not an isolated case. Are there any solutions?
The problem remains after reinstaling the Parallels Tools. I noticed this problem is mostly due to switching to the Full Screen View. It will try to switch then log me out of Mac, I then re login to Mac but Parallels will continue to pick up where it left off (trying to enter full screen) then just kick me out of Mac again. This can only be stopped by forcing the Parallels Desktop to quit. Any other recommendations? Maybe some preferences files need to be deleted?
I have the same problem with Parallels 10 on Mac OS Sierra... In fact I'm trapped and can't see how to break the loop...Every time I switch back to the VM it tries to start it and logs me out again.
To break the cycle this is i did - once login I quickly force quit Parallels, then press SHIFT-Command-G and enter "Library/Preferences" to go to Preferences folder, delete all the files start with the name "com.parallels". I can't find any solutions and getting no helps from Parallels. I can only run virtual machine in window instead of full screen now, but even running like this it still sometimes kicks me out of Mac OS.
I tried to file a support request but parallels support form blocks me and says my support code is "wrong"... I don't know what that means since I just got the damned code from the the account information... Maybe they are not supporting parallels on Sierra. I think it's time to switch to VirtualBox or something else... tired of forced upgrades every year and terrible support.
