Receiving error message "Windows cannot access\\Mac\Home\Desktop

I am not able to access any of my previous saved files. When I click on, for example, a .mpp, I get an error message. I also get the message that "There was a problem connect to the server "local host". Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do?

Try uninstall and reinstall Parallels Tools. If issue persists refer this article.
