    Hi,

I have had to replace the HDD in my Mac Mini and have successfully restored a time machine backup. But when I try to run Parrallels it loads the boot black screen and Parrallels displays a dialogue saying "Unable to connect Hard Disk 0."

I can then not get past this screen, I have tried topic 116508 but I do not appear to have all the lines of code that are required. I have attached the file which needs to be amended.

Then I tried removing the current VM install and then re installing it but I get the same error.

    Can you please help?

    Karl

    Thanks for the reply.
I have just tried that and receive the same error saying that it is unable to connect Hard Disk 0 when I try and boot the new virtual machine.
    Anything else I can try?

Please check if you're able to mount the PVM file on finder using Parallels mounter. If the files are not getting mounted, you may have to create a new Windows virtual machine.
