Installing PDM v9 from DMG File Fails

Hi,
I have an existing licence for the above, but cannot install it on a new mac.
I have downloaded the latest dmg for v9, click on it and it mounts, as expected. I then click the install icon and I am asked if I want to open the file as it has been downloaded from the internet. I click yes.
Next I get an error message (see .png file) and the process starts all over again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please let us know your Mac OS version. Please use this link to download Parallels Desktop 9 and check if it works!

I am using OS Sierra.
I have downloaded the link you provided and tried to install the .dmg on 2 different machines. Installation failed on both occasions and I saw the same error message as before.

Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac is not compatible with Mac OS Sierra. Please purchase Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac, which is the optimized version of Mac OS Sierra.
