I just upgraded to parallels 12 from 10. Then I upgraded from capitan to sierra. I can open parallels, and I can move my mouse, but I can't click. I need to open my accounting software and can't do anything. Do I need to also upgrade my windows? I'm running 8.1 Any help is appreciated.
Hi @Jona1, Please try the below steps and let us know how it goes 1.Make sure the virtual machine is in shut down state. 2.Open virtual machine configuration. 3.Switch to Hardware tab > Mouse & Keyboard > set Mouse to Optimize for games. 4.In Hardware tab switch to Boot Order > extend Advanced settings > in Boot flags box paste the following flag: devices.usb.mouse=0
no it didn't work. the screen has windows open and the x is grey I cannot click on anything. I'm wondering if I downloaded the wrong parallels? Is there a different one for Canada? I realize now I'm on a US site with this.
