Hi Guys, Couldn't find anything on a search. I have a new iMac 5K i5 running 10.11.4 El Capitan. I just installed Parallels 12.0.2 and am trying to install Windows XP Pro 32 bit. i'm using a superdrive CD and I have a COA. I'm using the express install and settings that are optimized for productivity. 1GB of RAM from 32GB is allocated to XP for now. After copying of the XP files the compute reboots as part of the installation, and I get a blue screen stop error. The message is IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I already rebooted and retried with the same result. Can anyone suggest a remedy please? Thanks. Ed
Hello @Ed_2 Please stop the virtual machine if it is currently running. Then open virtual machine configuration >switch to Hardware tab > Select CPU's drop-down list set virtual machine CPU number to 1 and decrease the RAM to 512 MB and then start the installation process.
