Are there any issues installing Mac OS Sierra with Parallels 10?

I would like to upgrade my Mac OS El Capitan running Parallels 10 (Windows 10 within it) to Sierra.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hi RajeshK1,
Parallels Desktop 10 is partially supported in El Capitan but in Sierra it will not be supported.

So far I have no issues with Parallels 10 on my Sierra test installation.

SvenR, what version 10 are you using with Sierra?
I have Version 10.4.0 (29337), and I'd like to know if there will be any kind of issues if I'll upgrade from El Capitan to Sierra, because there was some trouble from Yosemite to El Capitan, and I don't want to start debugging all over again.

    Thank you!

I have used 10.4 for testing. I didn't work on a regular basis with Sierra, but USB drives were properly recognized in Sierra (that was the trouble in 10.11.3). But you can't say for sure that this applies to all future minor updates. In this case you should consider to purchase an upgrade.

OK, I updated the OS to Sierra today.
First issue, the USB drive is not recognized anymore because in Device Manager in Windows 7, Universal Serial Bus (USB) Controller is with yellow mark. Not funny.

L.E.: Somehow, it worked. I reinstalled the parallels tools, 2 virtual machine restarts, the USB Controller is still with yellow mark, but if you select in the virtual machine: Devices -> External Devices -> select device, it appears in My Computer, and everything seems to be normal. I don't mind the yellow mark if everything else works.

BTW, Parallels says that "you will not be able to access your Windows files with Mac applications".

What does this really mean? Does it mean Windows and MAC cannot share the files anymore or some formats are changing or something else?

    TIA!

WIN 10 seems to be working fine for me in PD10 on Sierra, but Kaspersky Internet Security quit and I cannot re-install. Is there a work around?
Update: Updated to PD12 to see if that made any difference, and no, it didn't, so still no Kaspersky Internet Security functioning.

    Hi everyone,
I have a problem with space button in WinXP/PD10/Sierra. It doesn't work. I reinstalled Parallels Tools but w/o any result. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hello @Andrej_Nesmijanov
It might be because of the incompatiblity since Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac is not fully compatible with Mac OS Sierra. Please install Parallels Desktop 12 for Mac trial and check the behaviour.

    Dear Dinesh,
AFAIK, there was no reports from Parallels Inc. regarding inoperability of PD10 on Sierra except MS file access and some extra features. I guess, the basic features such as keyboard support should operate properly. Perhaps, I should apply to Parallels Inc. with it?
