-----This is my first post on this forum, so please forgive me if I'm not posting this in the right place-----
After I upgraded to Parallels 12, the "CTRL + Mouse click and drag" functionality seems not to be working anymore. I use Parallels a lot to run MS Excel for Windows 10 on my Mac and not being able to hold down the CTRL-key causes very frustrating issues. Here's an example:
1. I want to select two "cell ranges" in Excel to quickly see the SUM of those cells in the Status Bar.
2. To select the first cell range using only my mouse, I just do the regular "click and drag". So far, so good.
3. To select the second cell range (without deselecting the first) I hold down the CTRL-key, and do another "click and drag". Boom, not working!
Instead of behaving like I'm actually holding down the CTRL-key, the keyboard behaves as if I'm clicking the CTRL-key super fast. This causes the "second cell range" I want to select in Excel to include only 1 or 2 cells. If I move the mouse really fast I might be able to select 3 cells the most. This behavior was not present in previous version of Parallels and only started after I did the last upgrade.
I already tried to launch Windows with the keyboard set to be both optimized for games and not, but either way it doesn't work.
Any thoughts?
