I am very new to Parallels. I just installed Parallels 12. I then downloaded my Windows 10 installation file (en_windows_10_iot_core_version_1511_updated_feb_2016_x86_arm_dvd_8369778.iso) and installed it using Parallels (I think). When I click on the windows 10 icon on my desktop i receive the following message:
"No boot device is available, press Enter to continue."
When I press continue I just get a repeat of the above message. I've checked other threads about this issue but have not been able to solve it.

Must be something to do with the ISO image rather than Parallels. In Parallels if you go to File then New then you get a 'Get Windows 10 from Microsoft' option. This seems like a good one to take and should install without issue. You will need a valid Windows code at some time during the process. You shouldn't have to do anything special to make it bootable. That message is where it cannot find a boot partition in the VM.

I am running both the 64 and 32 bit versions of Windows 10 on Parallels 12.

    Hi PamelaL,
Visit https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/home and select the appropriate version and edition of Windows OS and download the ISO.
Perform steps outline at this link and let us know how it goes. Note : Uncheck "Express installation" from step 4 and continue the installation.
    Thanks.

I got the first ISO from my university. When I used the one from the website you provided, it worked. Thank you.
