Can you take snapshots in standard Parallels 12 like in Parallels 10 ?

Hi Bibi, yes, you can take a snapshot in Parallels Desktop 12 as it is in version 10. Please check out this article for more information.

@Bibi Fricotin - What are these snapshots that you speak of? Is this a way of taking a screen capture? I just use my MacBook's built in screen capturing utility. Command-Shift-4 allows you to screen capture a portion of the screen. Command-Shift-3 captures the entire screen in one click.

In Windows (a dedicated Windows machine) I would use (if memory is correct) Alt-PrintScreen. I don't know how to achieve that key sequence with Parallels installed on a laptop (no printscreen key).

No, I am talking of the Snapshots that enable you to revert to a previous copy of the Virtual Machine. It is very useful if you mess up Windows for one reason or another.

That sounds extremely handy to have - a snapshot. I can see having a clean install of Windows and frequently used Windows programs stored in a snapshot for a quick re-install (or reverting back). Nice.
