I am currently apparently saving all files to both platforms and my hard drive is filling up quickly.
How do I avoid saving my OS X files on the Windows side automatically?
If I delete the files on the windows side, will they continue to be available on the OSX side?
    Thanks for all help.

    Hi MartinA4,
Actually the files on Mac hard drive will be shared to your Windows virtual machine through Parallels sharing feature for easy access to files on both platforms.
This doesn't mean they are replicated, they are being mirrored. For example, the files you have on Mac documents folder can be accessed / modified from Windows Documents folder without having to switch to Mac.
Apparently, deleting the Mac files from Windows environment will delete the file from original location ( Mac hard drive). If you would like to disable this sharing feature, you can isolate your Windows from Mac.
Check this link for more info about Parallels sharing feature.
    Thanks.
