Running apps outside of Windows

This may come across as a silly question but can I run windows app natively in Mac with Parallels? Right now it seems all Windows app must be open inside Windows but I am wanting to effectively run MS Outlook natively and not have it 'stuck' inside Windows. Is this possible?

You can enable Coherence view mode and run any Windows application which will look like a native application. Refer this article to know more about Coherence mode.
