ok i have tried everything i can find on the internet and in these forums and my own ideas. I cannot get oracle developer or runtime to work in my parallels windows 7 virtual machine or windows 10. I can run the software just fine in any other windows pc be it windows 10 or 7 or even xp. I also have successfully installed and ran in a virtual box VM with windows 7 with no issues. What is the compatibility problem with oracle and parallels? everyone gets the same error of "oracle developer/runtime 2000 has stopped working" and the details are alwayse app crash with TK25W32.dll as the culprit. I dont understand why This issue has not been addressed more or fixed yet as it looks like it was first reported back in parallels desktop 7 or 8? If i can get this program working correctly on my VM then i will no longer have to lug a windows machine along also. This is the whole reason i went with parallels. Can i please get some support here as i really do not want to have to rebuild all my VM's in fusion and start over just for one program. Thanks

Solved the issue. This is obviously an incompatibility issue but i was assured by the development team that it will be addressed. It seems thought that it is only an issue with a 64 bit VM. I installed a new 32bit Vm and managed to set up my database and get it running. I have been using it for a week now and have had no issues thus far.
