    Hi,
I have brand new iMac (bought 1 week ago): Intel Core i7 with a 3.3 GHz Processor and 16GB of Memory. I also have Parallels on a 14 day trial and have bought Windows 10 Pro on a USB.

I opened Parallels and plugged in the USB, following all the instructions given to me. After I put in the serial number of the Windows 10 USB, the next screen switched to black and a series of words I did not understand (see attached). It stayed like that for 30 mins, at which point I closed it all down.

Any help as to what is going on and/or where I might be able to find a step-by-step instruction as to what to do next would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi stu042,
Check this link to install Windows 10 using USB stick & let us know how it goes. You can also remove the existing virtual machine using this link.
    Thanks.

Well yes, but not much help to be honest. I got to the 5th window down and then my screen changed to attached image (see earlier post) and then nothing else.

And, yes, I have the latest version of Parallels.

    Hi stu042,

I hope you have followed all the steps provided in this article and I suggest you disable EFI if it is enabled, but if it is disabled, enable it.

    Thanks,
    Ajith M.
