What exactly is the Parallels 11 Pro "Support for popular development, design, and testing tools including Docker, Jenkins, and Chef" In Parallels 10 Support for Vagrant was good, but Docker and Packer was weak at best, just the opposite of VMware or even VirtualBox for Docker and Packer especially Docker machine. Please sell my small software business on details of how well Docker/Chef will be supported in Parallels, why it's worth a recurring fee of $100.00 a year for Pro? Regards
Please don't ignore this thread, it's very important to have a clear message, especially by the main line you use to differentiate between your editions!
Docker Machine has a driver for Parallels Desktop for Mac 11 Pro / Business. I would say Packer support in Parallels (from v. 8) is at least as good as the Packer support for VMware Fusion and has less open issues/bugs. Actually I think if you find any thing not working or a missing feature in the Parallels builder for Packer please open a issue at https://github.com/mitchellh/packer since I think it is close to feature complete.
