morning All, in 2014 I purchased Parallels 9 and installed to my MacAir.
Installed Windows 7 and successfully log-in to the Australian Customs website (ICS).
The MacAir recently did an upgrade to 10.10.5 and everything still works.
One of my colleagues in the UK uses OneCNC on his Mac under Parallels
My OneCNC XR2 program is much older than his but I couldn't get the dongle recognised to open the program.
Been on the OneCNC forum and the administrators don't have an answer.
The OneCNC XR2 and Lathe 2003 program work well on a PC computer using Windows XP
It's possible it may work with upgrading the OneCNC programs but the cost will be AUD2000+
I only use the program for CAD drawing as a hobby
Has anyone had a similar experience to mine and if so, did you find a driver to recognise the dongle?

Hi tripleji, try the steps given in this article to connect the dongle and check if it helps.

Mac found the Hardlock USB1.02 device, so did Windows which says it working and driver installed in 2014
I've trying to figure this out for some time,,,,
But the program still says "cannot find the dongle" see error message:

Hi, if you are connecting USB devices through COM port to the virtual machine, then follow the steps given here.

    Hi tripleji,
You will have to shutdown Windows before you can make changes to virtual machine configuration. So shut down your Windows either from Start menu > Shut down or from Actions > shut down and let us know how it goes.
    Thanks,
    Dhana.

your last post was unclear, I think what you meant was shut down windows and go the configuration menu of Parallels (not under windows). That is some features of the config menu are not accessible under windows. Any rate, I've found the serial port, added to hardware list. This is where I get lost, I added a new socket called onecnc, went back to windows which gave me an error message for serial port. Obviously, I haven't inputted correctly, have screen shot my progress so far, James
