    I have a 2015 iMac with 32GB Ram.
How many Windows XP Home VMs could i run at once? with minimum windows settings only running 1 instance of a web browser on each VM.
Can anyone give me a rough idea?

    Hello @PhilL2,
There is no limit on number of virtual machines that can be created on your Mac. Available hard disk space will be the major player in deciding the number of virtual machines that you can create. In terms of memory(RAM), the limitation occurs only if the virtual machines are running simultaneously. The general system requirements for Windows XP will be applicable to the virtual machines also. Therefore, each of your Windows XP Virtual Machines require 128MB of RAM(recommended). Also note that you need to make sure that your Mac host has enough RAM(running multiple VMs simultaneously means Mac host requires higher RAM) to handle your VMs and other Mac applications. Let us know if you need further information.

And one more important factor would be the number of CPUs available. You can give your XP machines 1 CPU on an average. I would suggest you to take a look at linked clones to see if that's something you would be interested in.
