Activation Key not working

    Hi

    I had Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac. I uninstalled it and installed trial version of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. How do I activate it now? The key for PD 8 doesn't work.

    Hi,
    I have exactly the same issue, I have just bought a licence for the PD 11 but the key of my last version of parallels desktop (version 8) doesn't work . What should I do ? Thanks

    Hi Lapaque
    It would seem that the upgrade discount to version 11 only works from version 9 and 10 so we will have to buy the full version especially and the demo seems to have installed over my previous version 7. Could have been made a lot clearer on the email shoot.

    I appear to be having exactly the same problem. I just purchased an upgrade to Parallels 11 and it is asking me for a previous registration key but I no longer have it and am not even sure whether I used to have Parallels 8 or 9 as it has over written it. It wasn't at all clear that the upgrade was only for Parallels 9 or later. I'm in the UK and the reseller here doesn't answer their support number at all and there appears to be no way to contact Parallels support by phone. If Parallels support watch these message boards please contact me by email directly as soon as possible to explain how I can proceed. Thank you
