    Hi

I have a strange problem that's driving me nuts. I have Parallels 11.1.3 running Windows 10 and Office 2016 for Windows. Whenever I click on any hyperlink that is an email address, either in Outlook or on a web page Outlook opens a blank email but then just keeps opening multiple new blank emails every second and goes into a massive loop until I shut down the VM and restart everything.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

    Many thanks

    Andrew

Hello Andrew, please reinstall Parallels Tools and shut down the virtual machine and go to Virtual machine configuration: Options->Applications->Disable & Enable "Share Windows applications with Mac" and then go back to Options->Web & Email ->Web pages-> Default and lock the screen where you can see let bottom corner of the window "Click the lock to prevent further charges" and let us know how it works.

Hi Paul Chris. I have the same issue and followed the instructions above but the issue is not resolved. Constantly opening new Outlook windows such that the list reaches the top of my screen. Some of the windows are listed as Navigating Cancelled and other email.

Anyone at Parallels Support???? Please help on this issue. I have followed prior instructions to resolve without success.
When clicking on any email address in Apple Mail or in Chrome Parallels opens up and then Outlook continually opens New Emails, and it will not stop until you shutdown windows. All I need it to do is open up a single New Email. This is a recent bug.
    Please help!!!

All this does is to now get a message of "navigation was cancelled" on entering Outlook. Also, the windows icon (left corner) is now no longer responsive unless using right click. cmd button doesn't work either to activate the Windows 10 menu. And the windows icon in the Mac dock bar doesnt work either. All worked perfectly before following instructions? I have reverted to original settings but the issue these issues persist yet 5 minutes before following instructions everything worked fine.

Parallels Support: Your resolution didn't work for me (as per my previous post 1st June 2016). Please help on this matter as since following your steps Windows Menu functionality has seriously been reduced and I am currently unable to use any functionality that is activated via the Windows menu button. I specifically at this point can't run any programs that I don't have a shortcut pinned to the taskbar. Need urgent fix!!!

    Hello SandyG1,
Please follow the steps outlined at article to map your existing virtual hard disk to an empty virtual machine & check how it goes.
    Thanks, Dhana.

Dhana thanks for the reply on the suggestion for the Windows Button not working following unsuccessful attempt to stop multiple email generation. Due to the time frame passing I had already restored a previous Time Machine backup. The issue of the Windows button, therefore, has been resolved.....I am now back to the issue of this thread, whenever I click on a Mailto link windows opens up with Outlook and multiple new emails are created with the only resolution being to shutdown Windows, which is not great if actually you had other apps running.

Also, I have noticed in the configuration I have Open With Mac as default for email....so why is Windows Outlook opening

    Hello SandyG1,
Please isolate your Windows from Mac and check with the issue. If the issue still occurs when Windows has been isolated, post us problem report ID number reproducing the issue along with few screenshots.
    Thanks,
    Dhana.

Thanks for your reply. Before I raise a report can I be sure on what you were expecting to happen. I isolated Windows and clicked Mailto link. Windows opens and then Outlook with a single email (not multiple). Remove windows isolation and have email set to open in Mac. Clicking Mailto then opens Windows and then Outlook again.
Please confirm if this is the activity that should be reported
