I'm trying to use Transporter V11 on a Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3 system. I select "archive to external drive" (a USB formatted as exFat).
During the "Collecting Information about this computer" stage, I get an error message:
"The source computer cannot be transferred to a Parallels virtual machine. Do you want to transfer its volumes as Parallels virtual data disks?"
Now, this doesn't make sense - I am running it from my win XP hard drive. It should recognize that.
I've read various tech support articles.
    - I have plenty of RAM (1GB).
    - I disabled the firewall
    - I turned off the antivirus software
    - I updated the BIOS
    - I read this article about the problem, though it is not supposed to apply to V11. (and, I followed the instructions to detect my boot mode, but there was no such search term in the file).
    - I also tried to proceed with making a data disk - but it selects "0kb" to transfer. If I try "customize" it only gives me the option of all disks, and just sits there "calculating".

I am at a loss. I need to move this forward, and just purchased Parallels 11 yesterday to do this.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi MorganG1,

In most cases, the issue occurs if source PC is configured with EFI/UEFI volume or configured with Dynamic Volume instead of Basic. Perform an imperative check before the migration & let us know how it goes. If the issue still persist, post us problem report ID number reproducing the issue along with some screen shots of the error message.

    Thanks,
    Dhana.
