My mac: macbook pro 2014,latest os version. PD version: the latest version downloaded form pd website, trail. I have a usb storage deivce (SanDisk Ultra Fit), formated into osx format. I installed a win 10 into this device. Then in the windows system, any process will pause for 10s every 30s(not precise, just for discribe). In the task manager, the disk is alaws in 100% use,i know this is not good. After i copy the whole image into mac's own ssd, everything is ok,disk usage is 0% most time. So my question is: Is PD support usb device? If is,can you fix the issue?
Thx for answering my question, but the article you posted have noting usefull infomation for my issue. My issue is "win10 virtual machine always 100% disk usage when installed into usb storage device", and i need to install it into usb, cause you know the size of mac's ssd is very limited.
I have all my system (including osx el capitain) boot from external 850 Evo 500GB with an USB 3.0 enclosure with UASP (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Startech-in...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00 ), and i get write/read 500MB/s on my retina 15 2011. Impossible to have this speed with an external sd probably you'll have r/w 20MB/s.
