hi, i'm running microsoft visual studio express and have code written in vb.net. I'm using a web browser object in the code and have started getting a "failed to create activex component" error whenever I run it. I think it's caused by the way parallels references dll's. When i try adding the reference to my form it has a path that doesn't resemble the one it should be. It should be c:\windows\system32\shdocvw.dll but instead its referencing a debug folder. I'm tearing my hair out looking for a solution. I've tried removing the reference but it still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Not related to Parallels, Parallels doesn't change how Windows works internally.

    Hi Red,
did you find out what was wrong with your application? I try to find out if Excel VBA with ActiveX would work under Win 7 on Parallels Desktop but nobody answers me, I assume because I asked before buying that product.
