I am running Parallels Desktop 7 and I want to upgrade to Parallels Desktop 11. Can I upgrade without losing my current windows 7 virtual machine? Do you have to purchase Parallels 11 through a seller?

Hi NealR1, customers who are using Parallels Desktop 8 or the earlier versions are not eligible for upgrade pricing for Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. If you would like to take advantage of all Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac features, you will need to purchase a full copy of Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac. By default, all virtual machines are stored in /Documents/Parallels or in /Users/Shared/Parallels folders. If not, please move .pvm to the above-mentioned folder before you start upgrading to Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.

Hi @NealR1, uninstalling and reinstalling Parallels Desktop will not affect the Windows virtual machine.
