Hi, I need a little help to find how to set the VM.
I have installed Snow Leopard Server in Parallels 11 in El Capitan on Macbook Pro 2012-2013.
Everything seems to work fine so far, except for one thing. When I want to edit the content of HTML pages in Golive, the cursor stays outside or disappears as soon as it enters the text area. When I click, the cursor is there in the page and active and I can type from there, but I have to guess where it will be.

I have tried reinstalling the Parallels Tools, checked and unchecked the box "cursor stays on page border" in mouse prefs, coherence mode or not, to no avail. The keyboard works and I am able to type in those documents. It's just that I cannot place the cursor where I want it (tried wireless and cord mouse)
    What can I try next?

Hi PaulS9, Please try to toggle the mouse settings in Parallels Desktop between Optimize, Do not Optimize or Auto Detect. Let us know if it worked.

    Hi Arun,
Thanks for looking at my question.
Unfortunately this doesn't improve the issue (I did restart in between changes). Symptoms are like what the line "Mouse pointer sticks at window edges" describes, except that it's at document edges. But checking or unchecking the box doesn't change the behaviour. I wish I could uninstall the Parallels Tools to be able to toggle between Mac OS and Parallels with the mouse and see if it's better, but there is no option to do that.
    Would you have further suggestions?

    Regards, Paul

My bad, I just remembered that I had not run the software update after the Snow Leopard installation. It is now done and OS-10.6.8 has cleared out the problem! It was likely related to Mac OS-X 10.6.3. Sorry, and thanks for your help!
