I have ver 3 build 5060 installed on both my MacPro and MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Pro has a menu item called "Applications" and the MacPro does not.

Preference and VM settings are the same on both. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing on the MacPro.

Any ideas why this is and how to get it back.

I have not missed it on the MacPro, but I don't like mysteries!

    Thanks

    Mike

What the VM configuration on the Mac Pro say the "OS Type" and "OS Version" is?

On the Vista VM the Options/general screen shows OS Type "Windows", OS Version "Windows Vista". On the XP VM it shows "Windows" and "Windows XP".

    Thanks

That is odd because the only way I can seem to disable the Applications menu in build 5060 is to change the OS type/version. Try reinstalling Parallels Tools on your Mac Pro VMs to see if that makes a difference.

    Oooops!!

Red face time...just realised the Applications item only appears in the menu when the VM is running. I was looking for it with just the configuration window open.

    Thanks for helping
