Hi, Just wanted to check if there was any plan to support higher version of OpenGL in the future? OSX now supports OpenGL 4.1 (or higher), so I'm wondering if graphics developers will be able to use your tool in the future! I understand this is a huge feature, but looking at previous forum posts, I can tell I'm not the only one interested. Hopefully you'll bring good news, thanks a lot!
Hi PhilippeP1, we are aware that and our development team is working on this. We'll update you as soon as we have OpenGL 4.1 support in Parallels. Parallels virtual machine (Windows, Linux and OS X) uses OpenGL version that Host OS have on board, but not higher than 2.1. You may also refer to this article.
Thanks for your quick answer Paul. Do you have an estimate for this? Not precise, but does it look more like a year or a month? Depending on that, I'll try to find a temporary product to use until it's out. Thanks again
Hi @PhilippeP1, we do not have any ETA on this. As informed earlier, our Engineering team is working on this.
