    Hi everyone !

I have quite an akward issue when using parallels 11 on my mac to launch my bootcamp virtual machine. Mac is on El capitan 10.11.1 and windows is a 8.1 which is up to date.
I think the configuration is good, everything checked when it comes to shared folders.

When I start my virtual machine, everything's ok. The [C] mounted drive appears on my Mac OSX desktop, and I can access my files from here (using phpstorm, webserver is on windows, phpstorm on my mac, and I want to edit files on this webserver).

My issue is that, a few minutes later, this mounted drive disappear, causing phpstorm to crash (opened files are not long available saying no socket exists). And I have no more ways to acceed my Window's files from my mac (Finder).

If anyone has a solution, that would save me a lot of precious time !

    Thanks in advance.
    Guillaume

Hi @GuillaumeM1, please check if the following option is enabled:
Open virtual machine configure >> Options tab >> Applications >> Share Windows applications with Mac >> Check if "Pause Windows when possible" is enabled. If yes, please disable it.

    Hi @Dhruba@Parallels,
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I already tried this. "Pause Windows when possible" is already unchecked.

Edit : I already disabled HDD power management (Switch of after 15 minutes) in the Windows power management configuration panel.

    Thank for your help !
    Guillaume

Hi @GuillaumeM1, did you try reinstalling Parallels Tools?

    Hi @Dhruba@Parallels,

What a fast answer thank you !
It was reinstalled by itself when changing configuration, but I didn't do it manually. I'm going to try this !
