Application simply won't run

Hello everyone!

I'm in a bit of a pickle. I run a Mac at work, but I handle all of our IT so I do occasionally have to do things in Windows. We also have a piece of software that we use that only runs on Windows. It's an older piece of software, so I will full admit it's a little clunky and not very well designed. That said, it works on other Windows 10 machines that I have used. However, in my Parallels installation, the application will appear in the taskbar like it's trying to open, sit there for a few seconds, and then just close. No error message or anything. The only variable I can come up with here is that it is in a virtual machine. Is there anything I can check or try to get this to work? I really need it to if at all possible. I just don't even know how to check what's causing it to fail since I get no error of any kind.
