ParallelsDesktopSwitchToMac-8.0...dmg-do I need it to run P8?

All,

I came across the file named above, it's ~ 350MB in size. It's just the installation file used when I first moved to P8, right? I don't need it to run my vm do I?

Evidently, my question was not that clear. Let me re-state: While digging around in my Mac yesterday, I found the above referenced dmg files. I don't need to download anything, I want to know if it's needed to rum my VM. I assume not as it is an installation files, not the app itself.
