    Hello!

I am running a charting software (Wealth-Lab Developer) on my VM (Windows 10). For authentication purposes the software needs a fixed pc fingerprint. Apparently, after installing the latest update of parallel desktop, my VM's fingerprint was changed. When I tried to start Wealth-Lab I received the following message:

Error: Authentication can not be performed.
Less than 90 days has passed since this key was entered on another PC.
PC Fingerprint "6TEYM-NPWDM-U3VX5-L23HZ" on computer "CEICKECFCF" was registered 50 day(s) ago. Please contact Support.

Is there a possibility to edit my VM's fingerprint or at least a possibility to freeze it?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

The 'fingerprint' isn't something that exists as such it's likely a collection of specific unique data from the machine that your software uses to create this so called 'fingerprint', and this is likely used as a protection against copying, which means it not likely easy to change. We don't even know what data it uses to generate the fingerprint.
