VM keeps restarting after shutdown

    Another problem -- seems like about every other time I use the VM (or maybe every time), when I try to shut down the VM it restarts, then I get a message that windows encountered some kind of problem. Is anyone else having this issue?

    Hello Straitsfan,
    1. Please uninstall and reinstall your Parallels Desktop
    2. Go to Finder > Applications > Utility > Disk utility and run first aid
    3. Should the above steps does not fix the issue then please generate a problem report id
