Upgraded, but cant activate

I upgraded to 11 and the new activation key was verified. I then typed in my old key exactly how it shows in the box from my original previous purchase. However, the Activate button will not illuminate and stays greyed out. Can someone help me please? Thanks.

According to our licensing policy, an upgrade to Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac is supported from the following versions only:

• Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac
• Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac Upgrade
• Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac
• Parallels Desktop 10 for Mac Upgrade

If your previous version key is for Parallels Desktop 8 or earlier, please visit the Parallels Online Store to purchase a full license for Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac:

Could you please let us know what version of Parallels Desktop you were using earlier, so that we can check and let you know.
