Parallels and XP stalled just before the XP Home install completed.

How do I uninstall XP, so I can start over with a new, updated, copy of XP Home??

Click icon parallels and then on "file", there you can delete vm.

    I can't make it work.

The Virtual Machine didn't complete its install.

I clicked on Parallels Desktip App and got the OS Installation Assistant. I clicked Cancel. And Parallels stops. I highlighed Parallels Desktop and I go to File and "Delete Virtual Machine" is not an option.

I clicked on Parallels Explorer and I get a list that says Virtual Machines and Virtual Disks and MS XP is highlighted. I go to File and Delete is NOT an option.

    Any other ideas??

I have Parallels V3 Build 4128. The only virtual machine I am trying to install is XP-Home. I am running a MacBook Pro OS X 10.4.1.

    Hello!

Please upgrade Parallels to the latest 4560 build via Check for updates... menu option. Close Parallels before the update. After that please restart the MAC.

Then create a new VM and start Windows installation process from scratch,

    Best regards,
    John

Don't I somehow have to erase/delete/move to trash the XP efforts so far? I am going to install using a different XP copy (Brand New, with SP2)

    Sorry I am so dense.

I updated to 4560 build. Then I hunted around for some OS to delete, and found some and tried to delete them. Then I installed my new XP Version and it went smoothly and appears to work. I don't know why.
