Greetings...recent issue did a recent OS X software update and "coincidently" when I now re-boot/re-start Parallels version 11.1.1 no longer boots automatically before. Tried re-installing tools, no help. In addition, I also have Parallels Access installed and it auto boots fine each time. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks
Hello Sheldon, Please shut down your virtual machine and go to Parallels Desktop menu bar is visible at the top of the screen, choose Action-> Configure->Options-> Start up and Shut down ->Start up ->Start automatically ->When Parallels Desktop starts and then lock the screen and restarts Parallels Desktop and check how it works. Thanks!
Thanks for your quick response. The task you mentioned was first thing that I did with no positive result. Point to note: when I shut down my VM I am not able to access the Action-> Configure->Options-> Start up and Shut down ->Start up ->Start automatically. This function only shows when VM is running. The bottom line is that Parallels ver. 11.1.1 does not load when El Capitan is restarted. Look forward to resolving. Thanks!
PaulChris, "maybe" I have come across the issue. The Parallels Desktop application was not in the user start up list. I put it back an all seems to work. I'm curious however; when the desktop application is first installed, does it place the startup function in the user start up list upon installation? Frankly I don't remember seeing it there before. Any issues that you see by doing it this way?
