USB problem

    Hi, working with a MacBookPro retina 2015 I have updated El Capitan to 10.11.2
    Since then My Canon DR-5010C scanner is not recognized by Captureperfect under Windows 8.1 and parallels 10

    Does anyone have a solution for this

    Hi @CeesP hope it's detecting on the Mac side. If yes, start the virtual machine and then from the Apple menu bar click on Devices >> External devices >> then select the scanner. If the issue persist, try installing the Scanner driver software in the virtual machine.

    Hi Dhruba, i'm sorry but on the mac side the scanner is not detecteer because there are no Mac OS divers for this scanner and therefore it does not appear in the list.
    The scanner driver software has been installeer in the virtual machine in Windows 8.1 because of this and has been working perfechttly up to the Mac OS-X update tot 10.11.2 Apple being Apple reacts that it cannot love the problem of third party software due to their updates, if they update the rest has to follow.

    Hi, could you please provide the information to investigate the issue faster:1. Do you have connected USB devices directly on Mac or via USB HUB? 2. Is it a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 device?please create a Problem Report for the virtual machine as described here http://kb.parallels.com/en/9058 and provide us with the Problem Report ID.
