  1. What happened to "Nested Virtualization" in Parallels Desktop 11? The option is no longer there :(

Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac Pro Edition has included in create development environments in a virtual machine, and easily backup, share or restore it. Pro Edition debuts with support and integration for popular development tools, including Chef, Jenkins, and Vagrant.
Go to Action->configuration->General->Configure for->Change into Productivity and then go to Hardware->CPU & Memory ->click advanced settings and enable PMU virtualization

  3. aha, thank you. It had just moved from Options-Optimization in 10 to Hardware - CPU & Memory in 11 :)

Can I only do this with a Pro Edition? I JUST (yest) upgraded to 11 and it is not on any of the screens you mentioned above.

Running Windows 10 configured for Productivity, 2 CPUs & 8GB ram.

I've bought Parallels 11 too and I'm a little bit dissapointed with this release. I had carefully checked comparison table (http://www.parallels.com/eu/products/desktop/whats-new/#compare) before purchase. There is no mention that Hyper-V (Nested Virtualization) is available for Pro version only...

Is there a way to enable Nested Virtualization in Parallels Desktop version? It's required for running Windows Phone simulator.

If there is no way I think I should apply for refund.

I went ahead and requested my refund and reinstalled everything on 10. It was a pain in the rear, I was cussing at Parallels every step of the way for doing that. But finally, after 3 days, I'm setup and good to go. Sadly, 10 will be the last version I buy.
